This was an excellent battery for the money! Far exceeded my expectations. I hesitated at first, because I thought it wouldn't be as good as other batteries costing 10 times as much. So far, I have taken 345 pictures in succession before I charged it, and it still had 66% of its charge left.

The battery looks and works as well as the Nikon one for a fraction of the price. Since everyone should carry two fully charged batteries when they go out to the field, I definitely recommend this as your second battery. Save your money for the Nikon Speed Light.

This is a great spare battery. It actually comes in a sealed container instead of a plastic bag like the one I received from eBay. While the original battery that came with my D3000 is already good enough, this one is even better. It does come with 2 year performance warranty but the return shipping is $8.95. I might buy another one in the future just because it's so cheap and it's always good to have a spare or if you're getting a battery power grip, it's even better!

I purchased the battery for use in the Targus Digital TG-BGD40 Battery Grip for Nikon D40/D40x/D60 and it works excellent. This is a great alternative to the more expensive Nikon version.
